An online backup solution will ensure the safety and security of your data, but the recovery process of reinstalling and reconfiguring software and hardware can mean costly downtime. Even a simple server failure can require days of maintenance and repair to resolve.

Our DR solution can eliminate the need to procure, install and configure new hardware and software. In fact the failure can be resolved by the time you even notice it has happened!

How does our DDR work?

We can offer two DDR strategy levels:

DDR Option 1 - Host replication

DDR Option 1 - real time replication

We will replicate your servers in real time to our Storage Area Network (SAN) in our central London data centre. We do this by installing an agent on each physical or virtual machine at your site
In the event of a server failure, we can fully restore the systems and data by reverse replication from our SAN back to your network, following any hardware replacement or repair that is necessary

DDR Option 2 - onsite SAN

DDR option 2 - onsite SAN

We will install a Storage Area Network (SAN) at your site, and link it to our SAN at our data centre in central London, using a leased line. The data stored on our SAN will act as your backup, your servers will be the live servers
The DR server is constantly feeding data from the live server, in real time
In the event of a server failure, the roles are reversed and the DR server becomes the live server. There is no noticeable change to your systems or live data
Your failed server can then be fully restored at a later date, either through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or with a site visit out of hours, depending on the nature and severity of the issue

How does your data replicate off site in real time?

Real time replication

Our DDR strategies use real time replication across a high-bandwidth, leased line. Should the unthinkable happen, this solution provides an instant, seamless recovery of your operating systems and configurations, in addition to your data.

We can use an existing line if you have one, or we can arrange to install one for you. A leased line will ensure high bandwidth and high speed data transfer, much faster than a standard ADSL line.

Block level replication...

Our solution comprises block level replication of your entire systems. Data is transferred in blocks as opposed to bits and bytes. Block level replication is a far superior, efficient and secure method of transferring and recovering data.
